Would i become an ias officer?

If you can clear the exams conducted by UPSC you can become an IAS. Stars and planets do not decide that nor are those inanimate objects any guide. As you aspire for IAS, it is assumed that you are fairly educated and are intelligent. Now consider whether planetary position in your horoscope can guide you. The horoscope is prepared on the notion that the earth is at the center of the universe and the sun, planets and all stars revolve round the earth. This is the reason the earth and its position is not shown in a horoscope. The said notion, being incorrect, was rejected long ago. But astrology still follow the same idea. The other ideas of planets owning a zodiac, mutual friendship/enmity between planets, exaltation/debilitation of planets etc. etc. on which predictions are made, have no logical or scientific basis. Besides this, the notion that stars and planets control or guide our lives and destiny is not supported by religion. Vedas and the Upanisadas clearly state that such faith takes a person to the darkest regions of ignorance. Srimad Bhagvat Geeta teaches us to have faith on our own self and on God alone. When you wish to be an IAS, have faith on yourself and on God alone and go ahead.
