I don't know whether to give this relationship a go?

I'm actually in the same situation,and it's hard but it is something you have got to risk, tell him that you will go out with him but you don't want to ruin your friendship, tell him that yu ill give it a try but if things aren't right can we still be friends? I'm sure that he will be fine with that good luck!
