Sant ? Jarnailsingh Bhindranala was made a hero by Indira Gandhi herself to oppose Akali Dal the Sikh political party . Congress lost in UP because of misdeeds. Indira Gandhi wanted her delinquent second son Sanjay Gandhi to succeed her .But this "prince" fell in love with a Sikh lady Maneka and married her. After Sanjay Gandhi died in a plane crash Indira and Maneka developed hatred towards each other till Maneka Gandhi with her son Varun walked out of the "royal house" . Bhindranwala started armed fight for a separate Sikh state . Indira Gandhi ordered retaliation and Bhindrenwala was killed. Later Indira Gandhi herself was assassinated by her bodyguards.
