Why cant mexico win the drug war?

The drug distribution here in Mexico totals something like 6 billion a year, Where does that go? To the US and Canada. Now for a 6 billion dollar business wouldn't you fight for it? The US and Canada do not help the situation by decriminalizing and even legalizing the sale and use of small amounts. Oh sure it helps those in the US and Canada to avoid jail time it makes the US and Canada look progressive but it only fuels the fire to distribute more drugs. Besides with the recent news that the US government has been supplying guns and other ammunition to the drug cartels it is hard to fight that. With 6 billion on the line, high power rifles AK-47's coming from the US government, you have enough money to buy and hire all sorts of people. Yes it is a tragedy and even more so when two American drug enforcement agents were killed by the same guns given to the cartel by the US.no that's why it is so "eff'ed up!" Think how many innocent women and children were killed with the 2,500 guns the cartel has from the US: that's why it is so "eff'ed up"
